Many artists love to paint people... simple figures in our every day life.
Simple figures.... yes, there is an easy way to paint people and
even include small figures, I call those "stick figures" into
any painting to make it more interesting!
Here is a preview of the introduction of the painting demo!
The method I teach is, of course using a palette knife,
Alla Prima which is a painting done in one sitting, wet into wet
and is impressionistic in style.
I will do TWO demos for you in this video lesson.
One is a bit larger and is painting a figurative painting where
the painting consists mostly of the people and you could
do a simple back ground.
The second one is a demo of several groups of people that
are smaller and are "stick figures"!
Very simple, impressionistic strokes
BUT they are people!
This video concentrates on the figures and not the background as
a complete painting.
So if you want to paint people in a loose
and impressionistic style or what many call
"figurative work"
